Jorge Félix is a visual artist and community curator and a 23-year resident of the Hermosa neighborhood in Chicago.
As part of a fellowship with the Threewalls Foundation, Felix is working on a project documenting Latino and African-American residents of the Hermosa community. Felix’s photos will be part of an exhibition that will open on Thursday, June 20th at the artist’s studio. The exhibition will celebrate ancestral connections between Latinos and Afro-descendants of the Americas.
